Happy Gay Friday & Queer As Folk

It’s been a hell of a busy week for me at work because of the long-term absence of my boss. Me and my colleagues are trying to keep things going until she returns, which means squirming in a few extra tasks in my already full schedule. But hey, it’s Friday, browsing through my Happy Gay folder of hot boys can make me forget about all that! :)

This is actually a couple from a TV show – probably recognized by most of you – which is called Queer As Folk (2000). It ran for five seasons in the US/Canada and had a UK version for one season. These are the actors from the US version who play Brian and Justin, and they are incredibly hot together on screen.
I bought Queer As Folk on DVD and started watching it this week from the beginning (after watching random clips on YouTube for years). And I’m so hooked! It turns out to be a great quick distraction from work troubles at the end of the day. At the moment it even works better than a book for me, because it asks for less concentration.

If you haven’t seen or heard of this TV series yet, you can find more information here. And here’s a clip to give you an impression of Brian and Justin's hotness, who are btw only two of the group of gay friends that are starring in this series.

Happy Gay Friday!

  1. Yes to Brian, yes to Justin and hell yeah to this series! Off to buy season one myself :)

  2. PS: all 5 seasons for 37€ - oh you can bet I hit the one click buy button LOL

  3. Happy Gay Friday! What a lovely sentiment!

  4. I have this series - I need to actually watch it at some point. :)

  5. I've seen bits and pieces and watched a few of the UK eps, but it never stuck. Too much drama. I don't do drama. But a lot of people liked this series

  6. @Leontine: LOL! You'll love it. :) But please tell me where you found the complete series for only € 37! I've googled frantically but couldn't find that deal!

@Tanya: Thank you, Tanya! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Gay Friday. :D

@Chris: Once you start with the first episode you won't be able to stop watching, Chris. It's got a great group of characters, who are flawed and interesting from the first minute.

  7. @Lis: Gasp, too much drama?! How can you say that?

  8. @Janna: I found the boxset on

I can't wait to receive that parcel :))

  9. Happy Gay Friday, Janna!

Oh, I need to find time to watch Queer as Folk. I've seen so many snippets about the web, which just make me want to watch the entire series so badly.

  10. @Leontine: You're a goddess! Thanks for that link. I hope your DVDs will arrive soon. :)

@Ava: yeah, the snippets seduced me too. And I'm so glad I started watching it! It's really good stuff. :D

  11. I haven't seen this! Must go check it, right now! ;)

  12. Love Me some Queer as Folk, this is how I knew that two men together men me lose my pants. At 15 I just knew, Brian & Justin created a monster.

    Love this show!
